A Cosy Coastal Retreat for Staycations, Relaxed Dining and Warm Hospitality

Situated just a 3-minute walk from the beach and close to the South-West Coast Path, The Dolphin is the perfect place to relax and unwind in the pretty coastal village of Beer.

So, whether you’re stopping by as part of a scenic hike, enjoying a weekend away from it all, or dining with family and friends, we offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere, delicious food and drink and the hallmark hospitality you know and love.

A Great Place for a Bite to Eat

Why not pop by and enjoy lunch, dinner, or a fantastic Sunday Roast, in our delightful pub restaurant in Beer.

Choose from our extensive range of pub classics and hearty home comforts, including Beer Battered Fish & Chips, Steak & Tangle Foot Pie and Sausage & Mash, as well as an extensive range of burgers and hot dogs. We also offer seasonal specials and indulgent desserts to finish things off.

And in the cooler months, why not relax in our comfortable bar and dining areas, offering warming fires and leather armchairs or more formal dining furniture, all with plenty of light.

Our Sumptuous Sunday Roasts

Sundays at The Dolphin are all about hearty, traditional roast dinners and we have just the ticket with our specially aged roast beef, as well as other delicious meat and vegetarian options, all served with seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire puddings, roasties and gravy, homemade in our kitchen.

Why not combine a leisurely walk with the perfect Sunday feast or get together with friends and family for a catch up, or to celebrate that special occasion.

Our Refreshing Beers

Join us for a taste of the Dorset countryside and enjoy a pint of one of our award-winning Badger beers, which were first brewed by local farmer Charles Hall in 1777. Created from hops, malted barley and pure spring water that’s naturally filtered through the chalk downs of Dorset, they’re a firm favourite.

Alternatively, try one our Outland craft beers, including our very own Outland Stout, which are imaginatively flavoured, far from ordinary and ever changing.
